The Worlds toughest Triathlon sea swim in the Worlds 2nd fastest moving stretch of sea water.
New swim route straight over to Marina as per original race to finish in Town centre.
Probably Irelands greatest Triathlon swim route accross the deepest most tidal Sea Lough in Britain & Ireland.
Required Swim standard 1km 25 mins. Post event prizes and food at GAA club Ballyfounder Rd Evening live music at the Slip Inn.
Swim 1km Cycle 30km Run 7.5km.
Online individual entry £33, Relay Team entry £50. "Real Triathlon" T shirts available at £5.

Glenarm Triathlon
Saturday 23rd June 2012 12pm. Swim 750m Cycle 24km and Run 5km.
Opening offer The Glenarm Triathlon, Glenarm Village, Co.Antrim. This year we will have a 375 or 750m swim and the same 24km out & back bike course on the A2 towards Carnlough & the A42 towards Ballymena. Shorter swim option available. A Duathlon option run 3.5km Cycle 24km & run 5km will start at the same time. The run course will be as we originally planned before we we asked to hold our event during the Festival. It will follow the coastal path towards Ballygally for an out and back flat scenic 5km. A special limited advanced individual entry costs £15 with another £10 payable on the day Duathlon £5 Relay one off total cost £54. Includes insurance / licence from under our annual policy. Swim 750 m Run 1.5k Cycle 20km and Run 4.5km
Swim 750 metres in the clean balmy water of Belfast Lough near Holywood then run 1.5k then Cycle 4 laps of a 5km circut and run 4.5km on flat closed roads in Belfast Harbour Estate.
Racing From 12pm Sunday 3rd July.
We will also have a Duathlon option Run 4 cycle 20k R 4.5k with £5 cashback for the non swimmers,
We will donating and raising funds for Cancer charities.
Race entry costs £25. Relay teams £36 including online fee and insurance. Race limit 90 There will be cash prizes for 1st. 2nd, 3rd Senior / Vet Male and Female in the Triathlon
The other events are to promote the sport and attract newcomers. All standards welcome.
Entry includes insurance/licence, food, race number, swim hat and on line fee.

Strangford Triathlon & Duathlon Challenge

Innovative Endurance challenge and of season fun. A Sportive Triathlon and Duathlon for all.
The Strangford Triathlon v Duathlon challenge. An ideal challenge for those who want to use this years longer distance training or those who want to test themselves for a longer event in 2012.
Swim from Strangford to Portaferry or run in Portaferry then cycle on the Coast Rd round the largest Sea lough in Britain & Ireland.
The route follows the A20 from Portaferry then the A21 then the A22 then the A25 to Strangford. It is traffic light free via Kircubbin, Greyabbey, Ards, Scrabo, Comber then Killyleagh returning to Strangford for an off road run. No lime limit. Competitors or helpers can place bikes in Portaferry transition from 9.30am and travel to Strangford on the 10.15am ferry. Race start approx 10.35am.

Strangford and Portaferry are Historic Irish coastal towns with nearby beaches. They offer a range of shops, cafes, pubs, accommodation, traditional sports and music.
